The Pikeville Fire Department has a full staff of career fire fighters, who are also certified EMT’s, working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our fire department is also supported by volunteer fire fighters. Recently our fire department lowered our ISO rating to a 2. There are three separate fire station locations within the city, we have a fire station within five miles of all the city’s corporate boundaries, which helps us tremendously reduce our fire departments response time. Station 1, which is considered the headquarters, is located at Chloe Road. Station 1 is responsible for downtown Pikeville. Station 3 is located on Hambley Boulevard that mans the northern city limits, and Station 2 is located on Island Creek Road, which is very close to the Kentucky Enterprise Industrial Park.
